Does Andrews Logistics have its own trucks or do you broker loads to other carriers?
Andrews Logistics is an asset-based trucking company. We transport your shipments with our own company-owned tractors and trailers using employee drivers, combined with some independent contractors. We do not broker any loads that are tendered to us unless requested by the Shipper as part of the service offering.
Do you have your Hazardous Materials authority?
Yes. Andrews Logistics has the authority to transport hazardous materials shipments in all 50 states, Canada, & Mexico.
Where are your Terminal Locations?
Andrews Logistics’ corporate office is in Southlake, Texas; terminals are at the following locations:

Do you provide services into Canada & Mexico?
Yes. Our Mexico service includes door-to-door service from U.S. shippers to all destinations in Mexico though our partner carriers in Mexico.
What all products do you transport?
Liquid bulk finished lubricants, base oils, additives, crude oil, general chemicals and dry freight.
What type of trailers and tank trailers do you have in your fleet?
Single & multi-compartment non-insulated 406 aluminum tankers, single & multi-compartment insulated 407 stainless tankers, standard 407 single compartment crude oil aluminum trailers, and 53’ & 48’ x 102” dry van trailers.
Are you part of the Smartway carrier program?
Yes. Andrews Logistics has participated in the Smartway Carrier Program since 2006.
Do you have a good safety record?
Each year Andrews Logistics has one of the best safety records in the industry. This has been recognized by the National Tank Truck Carriers Association with its Outstanding Performance Trophy for achieving the best safety record in bulk transportation of liquids and hazardous materials. Safety begins with careful employee selection and training. What kind of pay and benefits does Andrews Logistics provide?
We provide a competitive compensation package, with a full benefit package available to all full-time employees. These include a medical PPO plan, dental, vision, and contributing 401K. Andrews Logistics also provides each employee a free basic life insurance policy as well as access to discounted voluntary insurance benefits, including long- and short-term disability that can be payroll deducted. Benefits also include paid holiday and vacation time.
Do you have opportunities for part-time drivers?
Yes. Opportunities vary by terminal, but we always welcome individuals interested in part-time employment.
What is the average length of haul?
Our average length of haul is less than 500 miles, the average of our local, regional and over-the-road routes. Local runs may be as few as 5 miles, and cross-country runs may be as long as 3,000 miles, depending on location and account. Because we specialize in regional bulk liquid transport most of our runs are a few hundred miles.
What kind of trucks do you have?
Andrews Logistics operates late model Peterbilts & Volvo sleeper trucks as well as day cabs. Most of the units are sleeper tractors with 62”-70” mid-roof sleeper bunks. The new trucks are equipped with Peterbilt’s largest standard sleeper unit measuring 80”. Year models range from 2007 – 2017.
How frequently do you pay drivers?
Andrews Logistics pays drivers weekly.
Do we have a program that allows passenger or pet riders?
Our Insurance requirements do not allow for passengers that are not employees of the company or pets to ride in the truck while it is under operation.

How often will I get home?
Driving positions vary by terminal, however the majority of our drivers are home weekly due to the regional nature of our work. We do have some local jobs where the drivers are home daily.

Do you use independent contractors?
Absolutely. Andrews Logistics is always looking for experienced independent contractors or small fleet owners with late model reliable trucks.
What products does Andrews Logistics haul?

Do I have to have tanker experience to work for Andrews Logistics?
Tanker experience is not required. Andrews Logistics will hire and train drivers for the tanker industry. Ideal candidates must have clean bureau of motor vehicle records and a stable work history. Tank truck drivers typically earn higher wages and have better home time than typical flatbed, reefer, or dry van companies.
